Indian Head Massage
This ancient and timeless art has been practiced in India for thousands of years and remains part of the Indian culture and way of life today. Its origins can be found in Aurvedic Medicine, which is believed to date back 5000 years.
Indian Head Massage is generally carried out with the client in seated position, and does not require the removal of clothing. Traditionally, Oils are used during massage of the scalp; however, this may be omitted if preferred.
Today, this therapy includes treatment of the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face. Gentle combinations of rhythmic but firm strokes, help to create a feeling of balance and harmony.
