Hopi Ear Candling
Ear candles have been used in various forms by many cultures as natural and effective therapy since ancient times. Historical roots can be found amongst the peoples of the Siberian Prairies, Asia and Native American Indians.
The oldest of the Pueblo people, The Hopi, together with the involvement of a company called Biosun, were responsible for bringing this ancient knowledge and recipe to Europe.
I only use Biosun Hopi Ear candles for my treatments as they are the only ear candles that contain a safety filter.
During the treatment both ears will be treated to maintain balance, each candle will burn for approximately 9-12 minutes, during this time the recipient may experience a light crackling sound as the candle burns.
They may also experience a “Popping” or “Pressure” during the burn, similar to when you fly in an aircraft. This is normal and should pass quickly. This is usually caused by the slight vacuum or “Chimney effect” caused as the burn progresses.
Following the burning of the candles the recipient receives a head, neck and facial massage designed to enhance the results of the therapy.
This therapy can be beneficial to those who suffer from Sinusitis, Headaches, Ear ache, Snoring and removal of ear wax.
N.B.: initial course of four treatments recommended, however, more may be required, dependent on severity of symptoms.
